The Website is Finally Live!!

The Website Is Live (and I’m quietly screaming about all the cute little features)

This has been living in my head (and in a million half-finished to-do lists) for a long time now, so seeing it actually be fully functioning, clickable, and better than I could have imagined feels really special. I've been saying for way too long now "I'm working on getting an actual website.." to people at markets, and finally I feel like I wasn't making it up.

Huge huge huge thank you to my boyfriend who's had many sleepless nights while working on the code of this beautiful corner of the internet. Turns out there’s actually WAY more than I thought that goes into getting everything connected and functioning and working properly. I had only ever played around with tumblr (if you remember that haha) and this whole thing is that times 1000 in terms of the coding and back end stuff that makes everything actually functional.

We wanted to make this space super fun, cozy and unique. That's why we've added a bunch of fun features like: - being able to choose your own palette - customizable cursors and effects for members - changing text boxes upon refresh and a bunch of other little easter eggs. (on a computer, type "SHS?" while anywhere on the website for a fun one!)

We have lots of ideas that we want to add, too so keep checking back for new features!

Every piece you’ll find here was made slowly, by hand, usually with a chai latte nearby, while listening to one of my audiobooks. (I'm taking recommendations by the way!) I kept thinking while building this space… I don’t just want it to be a shop, I want it to feel like something you can wander through. Something a little softer than the rest of the internet.

P.S. I’ll be adding new pieces in super small batches, so things will keep changing and growing over time. It feels really important to me that nothing is rushed, nothing is mass-made. Just… pieces finding their way into the world when they’re ready.
