By using www.sleepyhumanstudio.com (“the Site”) you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Who we are
Sleepy Human Studio is a small-batch ceramics studio based in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, owned and operated by Kathy Haston (Lecksee).
Orders and pricing
- All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless noted.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for pricing errors, suspected fraud, or items that become unavailable.
- Stock is held briefly while you check out. If the session expires, the stock returns to the shop.
Handmade variation
Every piece is wheel-thrown and hand-finished. Slight variations in shape, glaze, and colour are part of the craft — not defects. Photographs are representative; your piece will be uniquely its own.
Shipping and risk
Once a parcel leaves the studio, risk transfers to the carrier and ultimately to you. See our Shipping Policy for details on delivery times, lost packages, and damaged items.

Intellectual property
All photographs, designs, text, and branding on the Site are the property of Sleepy Human Studio. You’re welcome to share links and tag us, but please don’t reproduce or sell our content without written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site to break the law or harm others.
- Attempt to access accounts that aren’t yours.
- Scrape, spam, or attempt to disrupt the Site.
Disclaimers and liability
The Site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sleepy Human Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Ontario.
Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any change. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
